Our Fall Virtual 2020 NCDE District-Wide meeting and Special Called Convention will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2020 beginning at 10 AM till 12:00 PM. Join us as we finish our Convention Elections for Governor-Elect and Area Directors during the Special Called Convention. Civitan International President Frank Kelley will join us to provide remarks and install our newly elected district officers. We will continue with our regular district-wide meeting as we celebrate with our district project partners from Boys and Girls Homes NC, Duke Child Development Center and Special Olympics NC, to honor individual clubs for their service and support. Plan now to join fellow district Civitans to learn about and support each other in our community and district efforts!
Civitan International is hosting the meeting for us via Zoom. All that wish to attend need to register. There is no registration fee for this event. In addition, all club delegates and others eligible to vote such as Past District Governors and District-Elected officers will indicate this on the registration form.
There is only one option for registering and that is online. Should you need assistance in registering online please contact Kathleen Alexander at [email protected]
- Club Delegates and other Eligible Voters online registration deadline is November 16, 2020 – this is to provide time for our Certification Committee to process and certify all voters prior to the Special Called Convention. Any specific voting information or instructions will be sent to all certified prior to November 21.
- Regular attendee online registration deadline is November 19, 2020. Registrations for the event must be made by 5 PM. This will allow us to certify the delegates and also ensure that registrants receive their Zoom link invite on Thursday evening!
